Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Pay Rate: 23.00/hr
Contract: 9 month contract with strong potential to extend bases on performance and attendance
Location: San Diego, CA (YOU MUST LIVE IN SAN DIEGO, CA CURRENTLY!) (HYBRID: If manager approves)
Schedule: M-F 8 AM-5 PM PST
Training:
No time off within first 90 days (3 months)
No time off during holidays (federal holidays exception).
Targetted Start Date: 1/27/2025
What you will be doing:
On the phones but not call center. Answering phones, Data Entry, looking up peoples memeberships and entering in information into the comptuer
Responsibilities:
Database maintenance and research to generate and distribute contracts and member information
Identify, research and reconcile billing payments
Set up and maintain member data
Ensure bills are correct and mailed timely by interacting with benefit administrators to answer questions and explain Health Plan policy
Experience level: • 2+ years experience in accounting, finance or related field
1 years customer service experience over the phone required
6 months data entry experience required
• Proficiency in math, data entry, typing, spelling and grammar • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based environment • Successful customer service track record • Ability to diagnose, analyze and solve a variety of quantitative and qualitative problems • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally • IT experience preferably in a PC windows based environment • Willing to learn new tasks and adapt to new business requirements • Excellent conflict resolution and decision making capabilities • Ability to work productively at multiple task
