Parlor Games is a four-year-old e-commerce company with a line of hormone products for the menopause space. We have been very successful to date with rapid growth driven by effective marketing strategies and supported by well documented business processes. We act deliberately and with thought and are also not afraid to act when our market presents opportunity. The COO will oversee and optimize Parlor Games' end-to-end operations with a focus on leading the implementation of sales growth initiatives, scaling operations, fostering a people-first culture; management of the supply chain; ensuring the seamless delivery of services, scaling our brand, and driving profitability. This role demands a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the needs of the Parlor Games menopause market, personal experience makes a difference. The ideal candidate will be innovative, results-driven, and passionate about enhancing the customer experience while ensuring operational excellence; and will have a proven track record of data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, and inspiring leadership, coupled with the ability to deliver innovative solutions that drive measurable business results. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, working closely with the CEO and executive team to ensure the company's vision is realized.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for supply chain partners, ensuring alignment on service standards and performance metrics.
  • Expand data-driven practices, using metrics and dashboards to monitor performance and identify areas for company improvements.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness across logistics, inventory, and supply chain functions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and customer expectations.
  • Support and maintain the company culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Lead by example with a hands-on approach, while maintaining a strategic, big-picture focus.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service and commercial teams to align operational goals with commercial objectives.
  • Manage key functions such as Technology, Finance and HR, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies.
  • Maintain and develop the people-first culture, prioritizing employee development and engagement including expanding training programs to upskill staff and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Work with supervisors to set and monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to track performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and implement SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to maintain consistency and high standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial health and profitability across all locations.
  • Analyze P&L (Profit and Loss) statements, identify inefficiencies, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising service quality.
  • Maintain a strong focus on delivering a supportive customer care experience to ensure subscription retention and referrals.
  • Regularly analyze client feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations, or a related field (MBA strongly preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in total quality management, operations, inventory management, logistics, human resources, budgeting.
  • Proven track record of driving operational transformations and optimizing processes to deliver measurable results.
  • Experience in data-driven decision-making, utilizing operational metrics and dashboards to guide strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale projects in high-growth environments.
  • Tech-Forward Mindset: Strong knowledge of computers, software, digital tools, operational platforms, and their integration into workflows, the ability to watch tutorials to fill in knowledge gaps.
  • Deep (and ideally personal experience) knowledge of the challenges of hormone changes prior to, during and after menopause.

  • Competitive Salary: Commensurate with experience, including performance-based incentives, ($130,000 - $180,000)
