The QA Engineer will be a key piece of our dynamic and innovative team responsible for the development of a chromium-based browser. You will be involved in comprehensive testing of the browser application across multiple platforms including Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS, along with various supporting web pages related to its functionality and distribution. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for ensuring product quality.
Where You'll Make an Impact
Test Planning and Test Case Design: Develop test plans based on project requirements, create test cases to cover product usage scenarios, and priori????ze and es????mate durations of tasks.
Test Execution: Execute planned test cases to identify and define defects, conduct sanity and regression testing, and run automated tests to streamline testing processes.
Defect Management: Identify, document, and report problems encountered during testing. Manage and maintain existing issues to ensure timely resolution.
Process Improvement and Documentation: Evaluate and enhance the testing process for improved efficiency and effectiveness. Elaborate relevant documentation to facilitate clear communication and knowledge sharing.
Test Environment Management: Set up and configure test environments across multiple platforms to ensure accurate testing conditions.
Risk Assessment: Identify and assess product functionality risks to proactively address potential quality issues.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
1+ years experience in a Quality Analyst or similar role, preferably in software development
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, as well as utilizing automated testing tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Familiarity with Chromium-based browsers and web technologies is a plus
