Position Overview
The Practice Coordinator will serve as the operational backbone of our practice, overseeing administrative functions, managing projects, and quickly learning while maintaining our commitment to exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Operations
Manage daily clinic operations in a paperless environment, including scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation
Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient care delivery and practice efficiency
Oversee implementation and integration of electronic health records, practice management, project management, CRM and inventory management systems
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for practice workflows
Inventory Management
Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of medical supplies and equipment
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
Track inventory expenses and implement cost-control measures
Manage equipment maintenance schedules and documentation
Project Management
Lead practice improvement initiatives and workflow optimization projects
Coordinate implementation of new technologies and processes
Track project milestones and ensure timely completion of deliverables
Facilitate effective communication among team members during project execution
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field
3+ years of healthcare experience
Demonstrated expertise in electronic health record systems
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellence in written and verbal communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and practice management software
Preferred
Experience in psychiatry or mental health settings
Certification in healthcare practice management or MHA
Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations
Experience with quality improvement methodologies
