Summary of Role:
Job Profile Summary
The Principal Analyst Global Compliance & Reporting will be responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to global compliance standards and accurately reports on financial incentives and recovery initiatives. This candidate will lead efforts to ensure adherence to regulatory, contractual, and financial compliance requirements for grants in US. The role involves monitoring compliance milestones, managing reporting obligations, and driving operational alignment across global teams to meet compliance expectations. The individual will serve as a key advisor to internal stakeholders on compliance risks and best practices, while liaising with external stakeholders and government agencies to maintain grant program integrity.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Oversee compliance activities for grants issued in U.S., ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with various teams across GF to support Incentives & Recoveries in USA.
• Act as the central figure in a global structure to ensure that all business
information pertinent to subsidy programs is meticulously captured and
integrated on a daily basis
• Manage end-to-end compliance monitoring, including the tracking of milestones, deliverables, and financial obligations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Finance, Legal, and Business Units, to align compliance objectives with business goals.
• Audit Readiness: Prepare for and support internal and external audits related to U.S. grant funding
Other Responsibilities:
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications
• Understanding grant regulations.
• Knowledge of compliance challenges related to capital and operating
expenditures.
• Familiarity with financial reconciliation, audit processes, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Strong understanding of SOX compliance measures and the ability to implement and monitor controls.
Skills
• Education - Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience - 2-3 Years in field, IFRS / US GAAP understanding, experience with external public company reporting preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess compliance risks and
develop mitigation strategies.
• Project management skills to manage multiple grants and compliance deadlines effectively.
• Advanced proficiency in compliance tools and software, including platforms like Workiva, or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate compliance requirements clearly to technical and non-
technical audiences.
• Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams to prioritize compliance-
related tasks.
• Ability to adapt to changing regulatory requirements and industry trends with a focus on continuous improvement
Expected Salary Range
$53,000.00 - $98,500.00
