We are looking for a Resource Development & Advocacy Coordinator to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Resource Development & Advocacy Coordinator will work collaboratively with senior management to enhance organizational performance in the following areas:
1. Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships that align with the organization's goals.
Lead efforts to build relationships with potential partners, stakeholders, and industry leaders.
Drive initiatives that support expansion of the organization's service portfolio and geographic footprint.
2. Marketing:
Recommend and coordinate comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the organization's services, enhance brand visibility, and engage target audiences.
Oversee the development of marketing materials, digital content, and campaigns that effectively communicate the organization's value proposition.
Utilize data and analytics to measure marketing effectiveness and optimize campaign performance.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging and brand alignment across all channels.
3. Grants Management:
Lead the identification and application for funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other grant-making entities.
Develop and manage grant proposals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with grant requirements.
Oversee and coordinate grant administration, including reporting, financial tracking, and performance evaluation. Facilitate a quarterly grants management meeting that includes operational and financial accountability, submission tracking and planning for upcoming opportunities.
Cultivate relationships with grantors and stakeholders to support ongoing funding and partnership opportunities.
4. Grassroots Advocacy:
Recommend and coordinate grassroots advocacy strategies to mobilize community support for the organization's initiatives and goals.
Engage with local community groups, stakeholders, and advocates to raise awareness and drive action on key health issues.
Coordinate advocacy campaigns that leverage social media, community events, and public relations to amplify the organization's message.
Monitor and analyze legislative and policy developments relevant to the organization's mission and communicate these insights to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, healthcare management, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership or project management role with a focus on business development, marketing, and/or grants management in a healthcare setting. FQHC experience preferred.
Proven record of successful business development and marketing strategy implementation.
Strong understanding of grant acquisition and management processes, with experience in securing and managing large-scale grants.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and people skills with the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
