Aker is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Marketing to lead marketing efforts across our portfolio of multifamily rental and condo communities, as well as the Aker brand. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving top-of-funnel traffic, enhancing brand presence, and implementing high-impact marketing initiatives across all channels. The ideal candidate is a multifamily marketing expert with a proven track record of analyzing data, driving engagement, and deeply understanding prospective residents.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to support leasing and sales goals for all properties and promote the Aker brand.
SEO and PPC Campaigns: Lead digital marketing initiatives, including search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, and other performance marketing strategies.
Social Media Management: Oversee all social media accounts to ensure alignment with brand standards and maximize audience engagement.
Website Development and Maintenance: Own the creation, updates, and performance of all property and corporate websites to ensure optimal user experience and functionality.
Branding and Collateral: Implement brand improvements, develop marketing collateral, and support on-site teams with tailored tools and resources.
ILS and Google My Business Management: Manage Internet Listing Service (ILS) contracts, listings, and Google My Business accounts to optimize visibility and lead generation.
Data-Driven Insights: Use analytics tools to measure campaign performance, track KPIs, and inform data-driven decision-making.
Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with on-site teams, leasing agents, and executives to align marketing strategies with operational goals and explore innovative approaches to multifamily marketing.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in multifamily marketing, ideally with an owner/operator with a focus on marketing residential properties.
Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, and social media management.
Strong track record of developing and managing marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results.
Proficient in marketing analytics tools, property management systems, and website content management systems (CMS).
Deep familiarity with multifamily marketing tools, including ILS platforms and Google My Business.
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Proven ability to work autonomously, think strategically, and add value from the start.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
