We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in delivering high-quality HVAC, plumbing, and piping solutions for commercial and industrial construction projects. As a key leader within our organization, the Mechanical Engineering Manager will oversee the design, planning, and execution of mechanical systems while driving innovation, efficiency, and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and performance evaluations.
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Project Oversight:
Oversee the design and engineering of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and field teams to align engineering solutions with project goals.
Review and approve technical drawings, calculations, and submittals.
Process Improvement:
Develop and implement best practices, standards, and procedures for mechanical design and engineering.
Drive efficiency and quality in the engineering workflow to support timely project delivery.
Client & Stakeholder Collaboration:
Serve as the technical point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and general contractors.
Provide innovative and cost-effective solutions to meet project requirements and exceed client expectations.
Budget & Resource Management:
Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and staffing to support current and future project needs.
Identify and implement tools and technologies to enhance the engineering team's capabilities.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure all designs meet local, state, and federal codes and regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid project delays or issues.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
Strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems for commercial and industrial construction projects.
Technical Knowledge:
Expertise in mechanical design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical codes, standards (e.g., ASHRAE, SMACNA), and industry best practices.
Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore) is a plus.

Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field required; a Master's degree is a plus.
Certifications:
