This is ON-SITE in Lancaster, PA.
Previous consulting experience working with Finance companies (e.g. banking, insurance, brokerage).
Applied Agile in NON-IT groups (you must have examples)
Working with executives (VP and C-Level)
You have held a role at Director-level (minimum)
Experience with conducting client discovery and agile assessments
Scaling agility across large enterprise organizations
5+ years of hands-on experience leading agile transformations.
Agile Coach

As an Enterprise Agile Coach, you will co-create, design, and implement a strategy for teams, programs, and business units to continuously improve Agile behaviors by using Agile principles and practices. While aligning to ensure that our clients grow to an Agile Mindset, we must be experts in Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Lean, Lean Startup, Design Thinking, Leadership, Organizational Development, Change Management, Product Management, and Business Strategy, among other disciplines.
Help teams inspect, adapt, deliver, and mature. You will leverage your Agile/ Lean mindset and coaching expertise to facilitate the process and partner with client stakeholders.
As our clients operate across a range of domains, you must understand the benefit and application of Agile to technology as well as non-tech areas like sales, marketing, operations, manufacturing, legal, finance, R&D, etc.

The Vision

Help connect the concepts of business strategy, operations, and Agility
Agile Operating Models, Transformation, and Change Management
Co-create, design, and support full Agile transformation rollouts.
Provide Agile Leadership coaching and training to ScrumMasters, Product Owners, functional managers, and executives.
Collaborate directly with teams to coach and guide them on the mechanics of Lean and Agile methods to achieve optimal team effectiveness.
Deliver hands-on coaching of individual teams in all aspects of Scrum and Kanban - daily meetings, planning, self-organization, collaboration, iterative development, managing flow, limiting WIP, etc.
Expose teams to the latest innovative thinking and ideas from the Agile community to increase agility, leveraging lean, Scrum, Kanban, and other agile thinking.
Clearly define enterprise-wide guidelines (e.g., DoD, SM, and PO qualifications and responsibilities).
Ensure strong organizational information flow (scaling the coach).
Create, build, and deliver customized Agile training.
Demonstrate fundamental understanding of business operations (planning, budgeting, people management, etc.)
Help others understand Product Management lifecycles
Help others understand team of team principles through an understanding of Program Management (metrics, intake, prioritization, allocation)
Agile Mentorship and Leadership
Create, launch, and facilitate Agile collaborative groups, Communities of Practice, and Agile Working Groups.
Continuously develop the skills of potential and existing coaches impacting all levels of the organization.
Embrace servant leadership and display the behaviors that come with the key mindset shifts associated with Agile methods.
Coach teams and management towards improving Agile process and metrics, evaluate and mentor existing Scrum teams, and deliver training classes for product owners, developers, and testers.

Generally speaking, here are some thoughts on your minimum qualifications:
Agile Coach
Previous consulting experience working with Finance companies (e.g. banking, insurance, brokerage).

You have held a role at Director-level (minimum)
Experience in kickstarting an "Agile Transformation"
Experience in leading others with and without direct reporting relationships
At least 5 as an Agile Coach supporting Teams and Agile Programs (teams of Agile teams)
Have great skills on being an effective facilitator at the Program level
Knows Agile (Scrum & Kanban) with hands on experience.
Has their CSM or PSM. Kanban and scaling certifications a plus.
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency of Lean practices
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in Lean Startup, Design Thinking
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in professional coaching techniques (ICF)
Understanding of metrics and program performance measurement
Knowledge and proficiency in team performance science and decision-making science
5+ years of Agile team experience
3+ years of large-scale Agile coaching experience with methods such as Scrum, Lean, or Kanban.
Agile Experience:
You must have mastery in Scrum and Kanban and have a thorough understanding of "why" we do things in Agile
Deep knowledge of Agile principles and practices and the ability to transfer that understanding at all levels of the organization.
Certified ScrumMaster and Product Owner or equivalent.
Certification and fluency in one or more of the following: SAFe, Scrum@Scale, LeSS, Nexus (Enterprise Agile Coaches)
Be fluent in Lean Startup and/or Design Thinking (Enterprise Agile Coaches)
Application of Agile principles in one or more of these development disciplines: design, development, testing, and management; can relate principles, and practices into performing these disciplines in an Agile environment.
Presence:
You're pragmatic and not overly theoretical/ academic
Excellent presentation and training skills.
Consulting and facilitation skills in leading technical teams in the adoption and improvement of Agile methodologies.
Ability to connect theory with pragmatic examples from your experience (your personal 'war stories')
Senior Agile Leadership skills with an ability to lead by example and challenge command and control behaviors (Enterprise Agile Coaches)
Experience:
Experience in applying Agile in business and tech.
Proven experience in training teams and creating training content
Hands-on experience applying lean/Agile methodologies with teams and programs (include team kickstarts/ chartering as well as leading a "big room planning")
Real-world experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner
Demonstrate at least one example of being a part of an Agile Transformation (Enterprise Agile Coaches)
