Job Overview
Milestone Technologies is currently hiring for a Material Kitting Technician to work onsite in San Francisco, CA.
The Material Kitting Technician's role will pre-assemble product items into ready-to-ship kits. The Material Kitting Technician will receive and inspect electro-mechanical parts through a defined process, record the outcome of the inspection for traceability and data collection, and manage inventory for all parts including receiving, labeling, kitting and shipping.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Ensure routing and timely completion of kitting requirements
Ensure proper inspection of electro-mechanical parts per process
Ensure accurate reporting of inventory for data collection and traceability
Manage the receiving, labeling, kitting and shipping requirements on a daily basis
Communicate with other departments, vendors, and various outside services to coordinate purchase Orders
What You Will Need to Succeed:
High School Diploma or GED Required
2+ years of experience with material handling required
2+ years of experience with inventory management tools (Agile, SAP etc) required
Experience reading assembly prints and drawings
Able to execute well with limited instruction/supervision
Detail oriented; communicates well with others
Strong documentation practice
Flexible and able to adapt to change
