LHH Recruitment Solutions has a Senior Manager of Regional Demand Planning role open for our client in the Woodbridge Township, NJ region. The Regional Planning Lead oversees and manages regional planning for an assigned portfolio. This role involves creating and maintaining an 18-month forecast, demand planning, shipment planning, constrained revenue plan, and inventory planning. They ensure these forecasts align with financial forecasts and past reference points. Must have end to end experience in planning surpassing demand planning in a regional or global scope in consumer goods healthcare/pharmaceutical/biopharma.
Successful candidates will have a proven record of communicating and tracking regional changes to meet KPI targets such as OTIF, FA & Bias, inventory turns, and excess as well as obsolete inventory as well as a minimum of 5 years' experience in consumer goods/healthcare/pharmaceutical/biopharma.
Additionally, the role focuses on improving customer experience and product availability, reducing excess stock in collaboration with Sales and Marketing, and acting as the ambassador of Global Supply Chain in the region. They are also responsible for CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) for their assigned portfolio and regions.
Role & Responsibilities
The Regional Planning Lead manages regional planning within the Global Supply Chain, overseeing processes, information flow, resources, and stakeholder relations to support customer service targets.
They lead meetings with Sales and Marketing, collaborate on new business and end-of-life transitions, and handle intra-region allocations during constraints.
The role involves optimizing inventory levels, preventing excess and obsolete inventory, managing expedited supply, and providing product availability information.
They communicate with cross-functional teams about shortages and availability, resolve complex issues, and participate in product rationalization.
As a key contact for regional stakeholders, they drive continuous improvement and engage with strategic customers on collaborative forecasting and sales data.
Aid in prevention of E&O though avoidance and planning of excess and depletion of inventory.
Actively provide lead times, product availability, and allocation to stakeholders.
Collaborate with different teams and levels of management as well as be the main point of contact for all regional stakeholders.
Must be a leadership mentality willing to collaborate, motivate and network internally and externally.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business related field.
Minimum 5 years supply chain experience within a consumer goods/healthcare/pharmaceutical/biopharma.
Proven experience in developing strategic inventory planning for a large territory.
Must have end to end experience in planning surpassing demand planning in a regional or global scope.
Proven excellence in process execution, planning and strategizing.
Must have strong ERP and statistical forecasting experience.
