Metric Geo are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join a leading general contractor in San Fransico. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in preconstruction and estimating.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate estimates for large-scale commercial construction projects.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documents to understand project scope and requirements.
Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for cost estimates.
Develop detailed takeoffs and cost breakdowns for all project phases.
Lead preconstruction efforts, including bidding, value engineering, and risk assessments.
Present estimates and recommendations to leadership and clients in a clear and professional manner.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an estimator, preferably on large commercial projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
