The Project Manager oversees all project phases to ensure timely completion within budget while adhering to contractual obligations and corporate policies. This role involves setting clear project goals, developing effective strategies, and maintaining client satisfaction through strong communication and organized documentation.
The Project Manager will also collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects and the achievement of corporate objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities
Serve as the single point of contact for customers on assigned projects, managing sales orders valued at $100,000 or more from award through equipment installation/start-up and final customer payment.
Organize and consolidate all project-related documentation, including proposal files, order processing details, and communication records.
Track and manage projects using SAP, Microsoft Project, and Excel tools.
Develop and oversee project budgets, schedules, and plans, ensuring all goals are met or exceeded.
Define design criteria, monitor engineering execution, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Coordinate with internal teams, including Purchasing, Engineering, and Documentation Control, while managing relationships with vendors and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Track project milestones, document progress, and proactively identify risks to cost or schedule; devise and implement corrective action plans as needed.
Negotiate scope changes with customers and identify opportunities for additional work.
Promote technical excellence and uphold quality standards across all project phases.
Prepare and distribute Project Status Reports to communicate project progress and key updates.
Ensure adherence to legal terms and conditions in collaboration with Corporate Legal.
Manage arrangements for customer visits, including Factory Acceptance Tests and inspections.
Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the Project Management Department.

Required Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in engineering or business is preferred.
Associate degree or minimum 3 years of equivalent experience with strong written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), MS Project, and SAP.
