Role Overview:

As a Child Counselor and Play Therapist you will work with children and their families to overcome challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, bullying, and family difficulties. You will be part of a supportive team that alleviates the burdens often faced by solo practitioners, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional care to your clients.

?Key Responsibilities:

- Provide psychodynamic or depth-oriented therapy to children and their families.

- Address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family difficulties.

- Engage in play therapy to facilitate healing and communication.

- Collaborate with a team of therapists to ensure comprehensive care.

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and progress.

- Participate in regular peer supervision and professional development opportunities.

- Stay informed on best practices and emerging trends in child counseling and play therapy.

Qualifications and Experience

- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychodynamic/psychoanalytic counseling.

- Valid South Carolina license to practice counseling.

- Strong understanding of psychodynamic or depth-oriented concepts and theories.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

- Passionate about working with children and families.
