Summary
The JHF Gift Processor is an in-office position that executes all gift data entry, processing and receipting; ensuring accurate database content, integrity and utility by managing facets of data entry and data health initiatives.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the daily processing of all donations provided to the Foundation (online, credit card, check, stock, wire, etc.)
Responsible for the processing of all recurring donations and upkeep of recurring credit card information (monthly, quarterly, annually)
Point of contact for incoming gift processing email and phone inquiries
Responsible for accurately recording all gifts and applying soft credit to donors according to Foundation policies and procedures.
Analyze gifts and backup information to record appropriate campaigns, funds, appeals, and solicitors for each gift to be processed
Select appropriate acknowledgment letters based on campaign, fund, appeal, and dollar amount
Create new donor records and update existing donor records to include names, contact information, constituencies, contact preferences, and other relevant data
Generate monthly pledge reminders in collaboration with Executive Director, Advancement Services- JHF
Assist in maintaining electronic and hard copy donor services documents and files. (batches, pledge cards, gift agreements, gift adjustments, and write-offs)
Manage fundraising event payment tracking
Serve as gate keeper of all PaperSave documents management
Assists with onsite donations at selected events when needed
Experience
Generally requires 3-5 years' experience in a nonprofit environment, considerable administrative experience and project management experience preferably in a fundraising capacity.
A solid background in Microsoft Office Suite products and Raiser's Edge experience.
Experience with Raiser's Edge software is highly preferred.
At least 2 years of Project Management experience is highly preferred
Education
Bachelor's degree is required.
Credentials
Valid license or certification is required as needed, based on the job or specialty.
