Engineering Manager Location: Orlando, FL or Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid work available)
Salary: $115-160k (Potential for higher pay based on background and experience)
Position Overview The Engineering Manager will oversee engineering projects related to civil and environmental engineering, focusing on water resources and management systems. This role is essential for ensuring that projects meet regulatory standards, are completed on time, and within budget while leading a team of engineers and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion.
Ensure compliance with all permitting regulations and environmental standards.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to design effective water management systems.
Supervise and mentor engineering staff, providing guidance and support in project execution.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
Conduct assessments and evaluations for wetland treatment and stream restoration projects.
Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related field.
Professional Engineering License is required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering management or related roles.
Strong knowledge of water resources management and water systems design.
Experience with permitting regulations and compliance processes.
Proven project management skills with a track record of successfully completed projects.
Excellent budgeting, forecasting, and financial management abilities.
