The Hilton Boston Park Plaza is seeking a Painter to join our team!

We have a premier Back Bay location, surrounded by shopping, dining and entertainment. Boston Common and the Public Garden are steps away from us, while Beacon Hill and the Theater District are within a half-mile. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience as a painter, knowledge of wall vinyl, and availability during the day shift.

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm

Pay Range: $31.97 - $39.97 / hour

What will I be doing?

As a Painter, you would be responsible for painting, maintaining, and repairing surfaces of the building, furniture, rooms, and equipment throughout the facility.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Paint, maintain and repair painted, wall-covered, stained and varnished surfaces of building structures, rooms, furniture and equipment throughout the hotel and facilities.
• Prepare and paint surfaces using techniques and tools including, but not limited to, measuring surfaces, applying spackle and plaster, mixing paint, matching paint and using brushes, rollers and spray-guns.
• Install and repair covered wall and ceiling surfaces including, but not limited to, hanging vinyl paper, fabric, and foil wall coverings.
• Maintain and repair caulked, grouted, wood and masonry surfaces requiring staining, varnishing, and lacquering.
• Manage related supply inventory.
