Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for an Accounting Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, financial acumen, and strong attention to detail. The salary for this position is $60k - $80k.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
Assist with bank deposits, filing, and other accounting processes.
Manage day-to-day processing of transactions (revenue, invoices, etc.).
Maintenance and processing of AP.
Assist with Payroll backup as needed.
Ensure an accurate and timely period, quarterly, and year-end close.
Collaborate with other managers and departments to support overall goals and objectives.
The Accounting Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
2+ years of related experience.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Prior retail or restaurant experience preferred.
