Responsibilities
Leads project scheduling and coordination, ensuring effective assignment of team members and resources
Oversees multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency
Manages payroll, time sheets, and certified payroll processes for project teams
Conducts site inspections to maintain quality control and ensure compliance with all standards
Develops and delivers comprehensive project reports, tracking progress and key metrics
Communicates project updates and potential obstacles to senior management and stakeholders
Organizes and maintains project files and documentation for seamless accessibility
Coordinates with both general contractors and subcontractors to meet project specifications and timelines
Works closely with construction teams to keep projects on schedule and within scope
Processes pay applications, ensuring timely and accurate documentation submission
Manages inventory and tracking of materials and rental equipment for project needs
Provides prompt responses to team inquiries, supporting smooth project execution
Monitors subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with contract terms and project goals
Maintains detailed project logs for accurate tracking of milestones and issues
Reviews and interprets project specifications, shop drawings, and submittals
Oversees project lists, start-of-job documentation, and final close-out documentation
Collaborates with contractors and subcontractors, ensuring attention to detail and effective follow-up
Responds to inquiries about project status, keeping internal departments informed
Assists team members in prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines
Conducts on-site visits, with ability to navigate job sites and climb ladders
Establishes vendor relationships and completes project setup with vendors before purchases begin
Prepares and tracks contract change orders, ensuring thorough documentation and approval
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivelant experience in related field preferred
5+ years of experience in project management within construction
Strong expertise in metal working, milling, and steel piping
Exceptional communication skills for clear documentation and stakeholder interaction
Analytical skills to assess project needs, anticipate risks, and troubleshoot issues
Proficient in project management software, MS Word, and Excel
Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and organizational skills
