Position Overview
Multi-service Environmental Engineering and Building Waterproofing consulting firm with over 20 years of successful business in California. We are seeking a skilled Waterproofing Project Manager to oversee and manage waterproofing projects from initial design through completion. This role involves new design, evaluation, investigation, and design of repairs for existing buildings. This role will report directly to our Waterproofing Division Principal/Director. This role will require some in-field investigation work with a potential project territory of San Diego to Santa Barbara.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage waterproofing projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
  • Field investigation and water leakage testing of roofing and waterproofing systems, windows, curtain walls, and other building components.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop effective waterproofing solutions for historic, commercial, mixed-use, residential, and healthcare buildings.
  • Oversee construction administration, ensuring all work aligns with project plans and specifications.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Conduct roof testing and other assessments to verify the effectiveness of waterproofing measures.
  • Provide consulting services on building envelope issues and remediation strategies for various building types.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of architectural/engineering or construction management experience.
  • Experience in waterproofing and curtain wall design.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, design principles, and historic preservation requirements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to perform site investigations and develop comprehensive reports on findings and recommendations.
