Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer (Civil) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver effective land development, residential, commercial, and roadway projects.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for land development and construction projects.
Develop design plans and specifications for residential, commercial, and roadway projects.
Oversee site grading, stormwater management, drainage, and utility construction activities.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project objectives are met.
Utilize AutoCAD software to create and review engineering drawings and plans.
Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for management and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
5+ years of experience in civil engineering, specifically in land development and utility construction.
Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
Strong understanding of stormwater management and drainage systems.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
