Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing high-quality assurance services to our clients, particularly within the non-profit sector.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion.
Conduct single audits and ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
Assess client financial statements and records for accuracy.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of audit reports.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff and interns.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and address their concerns effectively.
Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in public accounting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of auditing experience in public accounting.
Experience with non-profit organizations and employee benefit plans (EBP).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
