Audit Manager Position Overview The Audit Manager will oversee audit engagements, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and delivering high-quality service to our clients. This role involves managing audit teams, coordinating with clients, and ensuring that audit deadlines are met while maintaining the integrity of financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand their needs.
Review and assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with GAAP and PCAOB standards.
Supervise, mentor, and develop audit team members.
Prepare and present audit findings to clients and stakeholders.
Manage budgets and resources for audit engagements.
Ensure high-quality audit work by adhering to auditing standards and best practices.
Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary information for audits.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards.
Proven experience in client management and relationship building.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience in project management and budget management.
