Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Packing Mechanic to join our team in a high-speed industrial manufacturing environment. The Packing Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing packing machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency in production processes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on packing machinery
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions
Adjust and calibrate machinery using gauges and tools
Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices
Assist in the training of new maintenance staff
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
Proven experience in industrial machinery maintenance
Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Familiarity with high-speed industrial manufacturing processes
Proficient in using hand tools, including wrenches and gauges
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
