Our client is one of the largest privately held, family-owned companies in the US, with ~ $3 billion in sales and 4,000 employees worldwide. They are growing and to help with that growth and expansion, they have asked us to help find their next Capital Equipment Electrical Project Manager.
In this role, you'll be the SME as it relates to CAPEX Electrical Systems at their plant in Central Arkansas and for their 3 sister plants in other parts of the US. This is a high visibility position and therefore has the high potential for future career advancement. This job requires minimal travel (< 25%).
In this job you will: Manage Electrical Projects by providing oversight of CAD designs, selection of materials, preparation of the construction job packages, programming and start up support.
Support all capital projects to meet electrical engineering requirements
Perform electrical engineering support for programming, documentation, and troubleshooting of Modicon PLC, Honeywell DCS, Allen Bradley, ABB instrumentation hardware and other control systems
Participate in Kaizen improvements and RCFA studies to improve equipment reliability, reduce failures, improve equipment operation and reduce costs.
Must have a broad understanding and capability to supervise or help design with high voltage power systems, low voltage power systems, electrical safety and process control hardware and data hi-way systems.
Required skills for this position: BSEE degree
Minimum 5 years related experience as described above
Must have knowledge of Contract Management systems
AutoCAD, PLC's, Allen Bradley, Honeywell DCS Function Block experience
Manufacturing and Capital Equipment Installation Project Engineering experience, preferably in a continuous mfg process environment.
Total Salary in the mid $100's. Relocation assistance available. Client is not willing to sponsor a US work visa at this time.
