Summary: Responsible for creating, documenting, developing and implementing procedures to improve efficiency in overall processes. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
Typical Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of logistics and supply chain solutions for new and existing customers.
Work as a member of the Operating/Logistics Solutions team to develop solutions and opportunities to generate new business opportunities as well as to increase value opportunities.
Design and process mapping; including material and information flows, which are defined and documented.
Identify value to the customer and/or contract.
Analyze existing and new business processes.
Define business requirements and document comparison of current system capabilities to business requirements.
Assume a project management role and support projects through concept to implementation.
Provide training of processes to operators, LS team members and other staff as required.
Visit customer sites to gather information and assist in operational implementations.
Requirements:
Ability to read technical/trade journals, abstracts, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to prepare articles, abstracts, journals, editorials, manuals and critiques.
Ability to prepare and make comprehensive preparations, participate in formal debate, communicate extemporaneously and professionally communicate before an audience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
Developed skills in process re-engineering/mapping, supply chain concepts, information technology and business development.

Minimum:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics or equivalent experience in Logistics.
