The Applications Engineer will be responsible for providing pre-and-post technical sales support for the development and implementation of our products. This position requires in-depth product knowledge and technical expertise needed to support the sales staff, customers, and end users. This position involves design, project management, technical problem solving, and extensive customer service.
Special Skills
Computer literate including modeling (e.g. Inventor) as well AutoCAD, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Technical ability including design, analysis, and troubleshooting
Verbal and written communication including technical writing and presentations
Project management for in-house projects as well as customer orders
Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
Required Education and Experience
BS in Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited university
> 3.5 GPA preferred

Responsibilities
Act as a technical consultant to review specifications and procure quotes. Provides design support for accessories and supplementary equipment, including third party purchased items.
Provide external customer support in order processing, warranty evaluations, and failure analyses.
Serve internal customers by providing technical support to all areas of the business.
Complete day-to-day activities in the department including ECRs, NCMRs, order processing, etc.
Support internal process improvement initiatives by completing and assisting with projects as assigned.
Support product development initiatives by completing and assisting with projects as assigned.
