The qualifications for the Advanced Engineer position include knowledge of engineering principles, technical investigation, and software engineering assignments. A degree in engineering, scientific, or systems management discipline, a minimum of 5 years of experience of increasing responsibility in the fields of Science & Engineering or Computer Science, and personal experience in project planning.
Targeted project work will entail development of a data filter testing platform, helping provide assurance that data security tools perform as detailed within their documentation.
Hard Requirements
Secret Clearance - Top Secret preferred
BS degree in engineering or scientific discipline and 5+ years of professional experience.
Experience developing software systems that operate on Enterprise Linux or comparable operating systems
Experience in performing the full software development life cycle (SDLC)
Experience writing object-oriented code in programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python
Experience in developing software operating within Docker containers
Excellent problem-solving skills
Must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Experience writing technical documentation
Preferred Requirements (but not required):
Experience in Cross Domain Solutions
Experience developing secure systems
Familiar with memory safe coding languages, such as Golang or Rust
Experience in any of the following technologies:
C software development
FPGA software development
Mandatory Access Control policy, ie. SELinux
