Job Title: Sr Escalation Engineer (Layer 3)

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end solution testing based on B2B customer requirements or topologies.
  • Act as a trusted liaison with B2B customers-understanding their unique needs and driving customer satisfaction from project inception to completion.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, replicating in-house environments to ensure rapid issue resolution.
  • Explore exciting new opportunities in industries like hospitality (MDU/UC/POS/Hotel), identifying potential for innovation and growth.
  • Conduct in-depth root-cause analysis and diagnostics of products, identifying recurring issues and developing effective solutions.
  • Apply a deep understanding of networking protocols and architecture, including gateways, switches, and access/wireless points at Layer 3 level.

What You'll Bring:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in developing network products or providing Level 3 technical support.
  • A strong grasp of fundamental networking protocols such as TCP, STP, ARP, Ethernet, OSPF and more.
  • Expertise in core network technologies, including firewalls, content filters, routing/switching, VLANs, and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax wireless networks.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking architectures, including gateways, switches, and wireless access points, at the Layer 3 level.
  • A passion for solving complex problems and a knack for troubleshooting in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with network protocol layers and expertise in using network analyzers like Wireshark, EtherReal, OmniPeek.
  • Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across diverse teams and drive results.
