This startup is attempting to solve some of the most difficult challenges facing the industry related to mathematics, engineering, and physics.
Role
Apply advanced knowledge of physics, mathematics, and engineering to tackle complex, cross-disciplinary challenges and develop innovative solutions.
Design mathematical models/simulations to analyze and optimize complex systems in various technological domains (this includes optics, materials science, signal processing, and computer architecture)
Communicate research results and recommendations to the engineering team, influencing both technical and operational decisions to drive project success
Demonstrate technical expertise in neuromorphic or quantum computing technologies, including emerging AI systems.
Qualifications
Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or relevant technical fields
Proficient mathematical modeling and analytical skills, utilizing tools like MATLAB or Python
Relevant previous experience includes Computational physics/simulations, Optical systems, Photonics/Quantum technologies, Advanced AI architectures, or Software-Hardware co-development
Bonus for backgrounds with extensive patents, publications, or contributions to innovative projects
