The Manufacturing Engineer's primary responsibility is to work with sales associates, fabricators, engineers, and management to provide Custom Solutions quotation, Bill of Materials (BOMs), routings, and manufacturing documents for assemblies. The Manufacturing Engineer reports to the Custom Solutions Manager.
What you will do:
1. Draft assembly drawings using SOLIDWORKS utilizing customer input, spec sheets, and P&IDs
2. Create quote documents to be presented to or sent to customers
3. Communicate effectively with the sales team and customers on status and expectations
4. Continually learn about clients' businesses, their needs, value add, and cultures
5. Develop lean manufacturing processes to improve quality and minimize cost
6. Evaluate and provide dispositions on quality related non-conformances
7. Develop and document training for manufacturing processes and equipment
8. Create and maintain Bill of Material and Routing documents to be used in manufacturing
9. Manage projects through the quote and assembly with an emphasis on continuous improvement
10. Perform assembly work adhering to strict certification requirements

Experience with BOM and routing creation and maintenance
2-5 Years Experience with SAP (or similar MRP system)
SOLIDWORKS, CAD, and P&ID knowledge preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong time management and organizational skills required
Must be detail oriented and consistently complete appropriate tasks within process functions
Physical Requirements:
Must have the ability to lift, push, pull and carry 50lbs or more. Must be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, squatting, and bending throughout shift.
