Job Description:

Our client is a Technical Resource company supporting development and deployment on Green Energy Solutions projects. A fantastic opportunity exists for a Senior Project Manager. Full time, direct hire position working on a hybrid work module.

Job Summary: To work as a Senior Project Manager in the Projects Team. Roles, duties and responsibilities are listed below.

Duties:
  • Responsible for complete understanding of all contract documents
  • Responsible for developing and managing all related contractual terms of the project including subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Accountable for "as-sold or better" profitability of the project
  • Accountable for the performance of the project within the approved budgets
  • Understand the project drivers from the client's perspective and assures decisions are made in alignment with those drivers.
  • Provide liaison relationship with client to resolve daily project execution issues.
  • Review project proposal or plan and develops scope of work, schedule, budgets and staffing requirements.
  • Conducts Project Strategy Meeting. Plans and develops Project Execution Plan, is accountable for keeping this plan current and assuring communication of the plan throughout the project.
  • Establishes staffing for each phase of the project, and works with Department Managers to fill staffing needs.
  • Meets with project staff to communicate project scope, Execution plan, schedule and budgets.
  • Directs project staff, assigns duties and work responsibilities.
  • Managing scope of work while verifying conformance to the contractual agreement
  • Manage Projects that range from 3 Million to 500 million

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all aspects of project delivery including: Scope, Cost, Schedule, Risk, and Quality Management
  • Also responsible for Construction component if included in contract
  • Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
  • Directs and Coordinates all HVEC and Multi-Office activities.
  • Prepares and delivers Monthly Project Report to Client/Management
  • Prepares Scopes or Work and Divisions of Responsibilities for Projects at all phases of execution

Education:
• BS in Engineering

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years project experience in PM role in Oil/ Gas or related industries.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in an Engineering & Construction environment in a project management or project engineering role
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a project manager in an EPC project environment
  • Must have experience with FEED projects as well as EPC
  • Must have project experience executing $250 Million or greater and have experience working in multi-office and JV project environments
  • Must have HVEC experience
  • Ability to identify critical project issues.

Core Competencies
  • Demonstrate full understanding of current technologies, Licensors, Design tools, Software, etc.
  • Manage all Business and Financial Aspects
  • Show full understanding of Phased (Gated) Work Process, ability to optimize Work Process to suit specific Project
  • Possess full knowledge of Project Control Tools; planning, scheduling, cost reporting
  • Have superior organizational skills, manages complexity
  • Direct all work; conceptual, detailed engineering, construction
  • Builds effective Teams, provides mentoring
  • Uses Risk Management is decision making
  • Communicates concisely and effectively
