About the Role - located in Houston, Texas and supports client projects in the following areas:
Refining/Petrochemical facilities
Chemical facilities
Life Industrial and Commercial buildings
Alternative and renewable energy processing facilities
Responsibilities
Lead a design team in designing and producing architectural drawings from schematic design through construction documents understanding general building assemblies.
Runs design and general project coordination meetings.
Perform general consultant coordination.
Manage RFI processing as well as shop drawing reviews for any particular project.
Implement knowledge of codes and ADA design into building design.
Communicate with client and client's team as a company representative.
Perform site observations and prepare site observation reports.
Capable of managing projects or portions of large projects with senior architect's oversite.
Clear communicator, able to direct and motivate team and give direction from less senior staff.
Qualifications
Holds an accredited degree in architecture
Minimum 10+ years experience
Minimum 10 years experience with Revit/Auto cad drawings production.
Licensed architect in local state, preferably NCARB certified.
General Knowledge of architectural drawings and organization
Able to perform city submittal process dealing with various municipal agencies.
All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
Proof of legal authorization to work in the U.S. will be required upon hire.

Pay Range is depending on experience
