Candidates must report to our client's office in Metro Little Rock, AR, this is a non-negotiable. Relocation package is an option for suitable candidates. Must have valid PE.
Position Summary:
The Senior Engineer (must be a licensed PE) will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of engineering designs both telecom and electrical. This individual will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers while working closely with design engineers to stamp and quality-check project deliverables. Industry training will be provided to those interested that currently work in another sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Stamping and Quality Control: Review and stamp engineering designs, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
Conduct thorough quality control checks to identify and address any errors or omissions.
Provide expert technical input and recommendations to improve design quality and efficiency.
Design and Development: Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
Design, analyze, and optimize engineering systems and components.
Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Mentorship and Training: Guide and mentor junior engineers in their professional development.
Share knowledge and experience to enhance their technical skills and understanding of engineering principles.
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Technical Expertise: Apply a deep understanding of engineering principles, design methodologies, and industry best practices.
Stay current with the latest advancements in engineering technology and regulations.
Provide technical expertise and problem-solving skills to address complex engineering challenges.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with design engineers to ensure project deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.
Coordinate with other project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate and comprehensive engineering documentation.
Generate reports and presentations as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, electrical or mechanical preferred.
Active Professional Engineering (PE) license. (SouthEastern USA states preferred)
Minimum 5+ years of experience in engineering design and project management.
