Job Description: My client is seeking an experienced Land Development Project Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in civil engineering, specifically in land development, and hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead and manage land development projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet client specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
Design and Planning: Perform and oversee design tasks including grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant software.
Regulatory Compliance: Review and ensure compliance with municipal zoning and land development ordinances, as well as other applicable regulations.
Site Investigation and Due Diligence: Conduct site visits, research ordinances, and utility services to establish comprehensive development guidelines.
Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or changes in project scope.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior engineers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
Strong understanding of local, state, and federal land development regulations.
Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
