Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards and other relevant industry regulations. Ensure all quality processes and procedures are thoroughly documented, communicated in a clear and traceable manner, and strictly adhered to. Conduct regular (e.g., annual/ quarterly/ monthly) audits to ensure compliance with the QMS and identify areas for improvement.
Oversee the strict and timely inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards. Implement and monitor quality control procedures to detect and address defects or non-conformities, and adjust these procedures as needed to address emerging issues.
Pursue Quality Excellence by managing Customer Satisfaction and Quality-related processes. Collect and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, reducing defects, and increasing efficiency. Utilize quality tools such as the "8D" problem-solving method, the "Fishbone diagram," "Lean Six Sigma," "SPC", etc., to conduct Root Cause Analysis in case of non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
Maintain continuous contact with customers, suppliers, manufacturing, and support resources to identify and resolve potential quality issues and promote ongoing quality improvement throughout the entire supply chain.
Organize and manage the Quality function within a given entity, fostering a collaborative and proactive team culture. Provide comprehensive training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure the team is adequately equipped with the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
Experience Required:
3+ years of manufacturing experience. Experience in lawn equipment industry is a plus.
Ability to use common quality tools and measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and torque wrenches.
Familiar with hardware accessories and mechanical processing or electronics input inspection, understanding metal processing technology, familiar with the relevant processes of the quality department.
Familiar with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
Must be able to read and comprehend drawings and schematics.
Must be able to lead and manage others, while promoting a teamwork environment.
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload
