New Product Development
Adhere to the Concept to Product (C to P) gated development process.
Create and maintain 3D master assembly models using drawing standards, leveraging Inventor and Autodesk Vault platforms.
Develop and maintain detailed 2D component drawings with all required specifications, using dimensioning techniques, welding symbols, material callouts, and part markings.
Maintain product bills of materials (BOM) for your project.
Fully develop any product options related to your project.
Identify critical assembly operations and provide necessary torqueing information on system commodity drawings for production teams.
Produce and update engineering-related documents, including:
Instruction Books (AIB) and Spare Parts Books (ASL) per company standards.
Dimension Drawings (AHB) for all product variants.
Product data documentation (AML).
Service requirements, including consumable service packs.
Product Configuration/Options Matrix (PCT) files.
Wiring schematics (when applicable).
Assemble prototypes for products in development as needed.
Project Documentation & Management
Initiate and support the development of all necessary product documentation.
