We are looking for Marine Facilities Maintenance employee for a local tugboat company.

We offer harbor tug boat services, deck barge rentals, salvage, dredging, and marine construction services in San Diego.

Hard worker, self-starter and able to communicate with team and supervisor in a professional manner..

Duties include assisting the Safety Manager in making sure the dock, vessels and facility are safe, organized and improving overall condition and appearance of the facility.

Assisting the Purchasing Manager with receiving and inventory.

Work is primarily out side on a pier and around various commercial vessels.

Requirements

1. Under direction performs maintenance duties such as facility and office cleaning, removal of trash and metal debris generated from maintenance activities.

2. Assists maintenance crews by moving construction materials and performing duties in support of maintenance staff.

3. Sweeps, cleans, and organizes the pier, parking area, office barge, pier bathroom and mechanics barge improving the condition and appearance of the facility.

4. Receives and documents deliveries while distributing items and paperwork to proper parties.

5. Assist with rigging, line handling or serving as boat crew if necessary.

6. Shipping/ Receiving

7. Forklift experience preferred

8. Frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pds.

Experience preferred. Full time M-F.
