A Data Analyst for TQL will build scalable reports, visualizations, and models to uncover insights and drive business decisions. They will help identify and resolve issues with existing reports and discover future solutions utilizing industry-leading technologies. What you’ll be doing:
Consult with end users across multiple departments to understand reporting needs and challenges
Perform exploratory data analysis and apply statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data
Take ownership of reporting and analytic solutions from inception to completion, providing follow-up communication and deliverables until requirements are met
Deliver results with accuracy and urgency on multiple projects
Provide quality customer service to a diverse group of internal customers
What you need:
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics or related
3-5 years of professional IT experience (internships/co-ops qualify)
Basic knowledge of a programming language commonly used in data analysis, such as Python or R
Exceptional aptitude for applied mathematics, statistics and computer programming
SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or other Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) like MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL
Exposure to data modeling with Star and Snowflake schemas
Familiarity of database concepts such as Normalization, Entity Relationship Diagrams, and Row Level Security (RLS)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Exposure to data visualization concepts and techniques
