Capital Hilton is looking to welcome an Executive Meetings Manager to join the team!

Our historic hotel is in the heart of the nation's capital, less than a mile from McPherson Sq metro station has 559 guest rooms, over 31,235 total event space and 21 meeting rooms.

The ideal candidate would have worked most recently with an employer for 1+ years. Ability to setup, breakdown and clean meeting rooms, event space and surrounding areas. Ability to work varying schedules.

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday (8:30AM-5:00PM) (Flexibility with evenings, weekends, holidays for events).

Pay Rate Range: $30.29 - $32.69 per hour. Opportunity for overtime and included in the Sales Incentive Program.

What will I be doing?

As an Executive Meetings Manager, you will be responsible for 30+ guest rooms on peak, selling and servicing multiple markets including the Tour and Travel market. More specifically:


  • Respond to sales inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food and beverage services, etc. Utilize discretion and authority to negotiate contracts and commit company with customers and establish agreements with vendors.
  • Initiate new sales, prospects, and qualifies leads.
  • Write proposals and/or contracts to advise prospective groups for meeting space, space and rate availability for group accommodations (10-50 guest rooms) for moderately smaller meetings. Develop and quote prices for same.
  • Attend daily stand-up meeting, monthly sales departmental meeting, and other scheduled meetings to support business operations.
  • Conduct site inspections and property tours with potential customers, visiting guest rooms, meeting space and banquet facilities, as well as other hotel facilities.
  • Partner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accounts.
