Purpose/Introduction
Performance Pipe, A Division of Chevron Phillips Chemical Co., LP., an injection molding manufacturer of polyethylene pipe fittings, located in Bloomfield, IA is seeking a full time employee for a 2nd shift (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm) Maintenance trainee position.Excellent starting salary at $22.91.
Available position requires the ability to work safely in a team-oriented environment. The plant operates 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Overtime may be required which includes weekends. Applicants must be 18 years or older, high school education or GED is required in addition to a valid driver's license.
We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate who has a demonstrated work history of shift work, in addition to working injury free and following work place/plant safety practices and procedures. Experience in a manufacturing environment-injection molding process experience a plus.

Must have either 2 years of technical training or a minimum of 5 years maintenance position experience in an industrial environment.
Must be able to use measuring equipment and gauges typically required by a Maintenance Technician.
Must be able to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
Must have the ability to read and understand drawings, prints and schematics.

Must be able to perform welding and cutting tasks.
Must understand and have the ability to work safely with electricity up to and including 480 volts.
Experience with computer controlled equipment, PLC's, HVAC and process water systems would be a plus.
Must pass all MOBI requirements for forklifts and cranes and possess the ability to operate this equipment.
Proficient in communicating in English language (both verbal and written).
