Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking for a C-17 Associate Electronics Technician (Avionics) to join our team in San Antonio, TX.
Position Responsibilities: • Solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents • Select tools and testing instruments to plan work sequence to be reviewed for compliance • Assist in the performance of aircraft bench and/or flight line operational testing and troubleshooting in accordance with DOD, manufacturer, company, supplier and other directives • Interpret standard work instructions, charts, tables, blueprints, wire diagrams, formulas, sketches, verbal and electronic orders, job layouts, etc. to accomplish assigned work • Ensure that all equipment is used in accordance with established safety and operating procedures. • Diagnose and correct malfunctions occurring in assembly processes • Use precision measuring instruments, gauges, tools, etc., necessary to check dimensions and conformance to quality requirements
• Experience with maintenance of avionics and/or electronic equipment • Experience reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, material processes, schematics and diagrams • Experience with aircraft computer systems and basic office software • Operate riding type electric powered elevating equipment to accomplish work assignment
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. (San Antonio, TX)
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • Position requires 5+ years of experience in those duties as previously described for satisfactory performance.
• Ability to work a variable shift.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • Active US security clearance Secret level or higher • Experience with depot level maintenance and modifications • FAA certification in Airframe and/or Power plant
Shift: This position requires the ability to work a variable shift including 2nd shift.

Summary pay rate: $70,720/Annually - $34.00 per hour
Additive Pay: $1.00/hourly for Airframe Certification
$1.00/hourly for Powerplant Certification
