Overview
Come join the Zenith Business Development Team to help elevate our agency and win new business! In the role of New Business Director, you will partner with other members of the Business Development team in running US media pitches. This includes acquiring net-new clients, as well as defending any current clients should they put their business up for review. There is also the opportunity to partner with our Global teams should the US be in scope for a large, multi-market media pitch. The objective of our team to secure and build long term client relationships and manage our agencies' participation in a formal pitch process (note: we do not function as a sales team). We take an active role content development and elevating the work of our subject matter experts.
Responsibilities include partnering with subject matter experts to create winning pitch presentations and deliverables. We are looking for candidates with media strategy experience (agency- or client-side) and strong storytelling capabilities. This role provides candidates an exciting and accelerated career path, with high visibility within our agency and network as a whole. Responsibilities
PRODUCE WINNING WORK IN NEW BUSINESS PITCHES
Contribute in development and elevation of pitch content to ensure a compelling, bold, and memorable story.
Add strategic value at each stage of the pitch process through your ability to effectively evaluate all pitch content.
Understand the changing media agency landscape and identify our competitors' strengths and weaknesses.
LEAD PITCH TEAMS
Support and motivate pitch-winning teams and inspire a full team effort.
Foster collaborative relationships to ensure a holistic strategy is deployed for all pitch deliverables.
Support and/or create new tools and processes to give team a competitive advantage.
DESIGNING, ACTIVATING, AND OWNING THE PITCH DELIVERY PLAN
Guide and execute pitch coordination - timelines, checkpoints, deliverables, design and pitch theater.
Overall logistics management of new business pitches, from in-person to virtual meeting management.
Understand of all aspects of our agency offering, from media planning, data, tech, tools, and commercials.
CLOSE COLLABORATION
Closely collaborate with pitch leadership to ensure a consistent, winning strategy is deployed across all pitches.
Ensure accountability across key pitch stakeholders to meet deadlines and deliverables.
Responsible for accurate and timely entry of pitch details in Publicis Groupe's Central Repository (via Salesforce).
Qualifications
8+ years of media agency or client experience (preferred) or background in business development for a media agency.
Experience of simple storytelling and creative thinking.
Self-starter who is curious and proactively thinks around corners.
A natural-born planner, with excellent attention to detail and a passion for organizing process and people.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment under pressure to deadline.
Believes no ask is too big and no detail too small.
Proven ability to guide cross-functional teams to a common vision.

Compensation Range: $125,800 - $160,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
