Our client is seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Food Processing Engineer to join their rapidly growing team in the food production industry. This position will be instrumental in optimizing production processes, addressing operational challenges, and driving improvements that enhance quality and efficiency. This role is onsite in McMinnville, Oregon.
Food Processing Engineer Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and Improve: Lead initiatives to diagnose technical issues affecting production efficiency and reduce machine downtime.
Optimize Processes: Apply expertise to streamline machinery and production workflows, focusing on waste reduction and maintaining consistent quality standards.
Data-Driven Enhancements: Utilize a holistic view to evaluate performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and recommend targeted improvements.
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with cross-functional teams to support quality and innovation goals, bringing fresh insights to enhance production processes.
Food Processing Engineer Qualifications:
Master's degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
Familiarity with methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and improve complex production systems.
Strong capability to balance detailed, hands-on work with a broad, strategic perspective on production processes.
