A Tier 1 automotive parts supplier is seeking a Plant Engineer to lead the transformation of a newly acquired metal stamping and coating facility.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic transformation of the plant, including facility upgrades and equipment overhauls.
Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality standards.
Manage P&L, budgets, and financial performance in partnership with the plant Controller.
Collaborate with departments across manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and accounting to drive operational success.
Direct capital projects and equipment installations to optimize production capabilities.
Report to the VP and work closely with corporate leadership to meet business objectives.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred, but not required.
10+ years of experience in plant engineering, with a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, preferably in metal stamping, injection molding, or related industries.
Proven experience managing P&L, budgets, and financial performance for a facility.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-departmental operations and driving process improvements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and build strong relationships.
AutoCAD experience is required for plant layouts.
