The ideal candidate will be responsible for HVAC design for facilities, with an emphasis on mission critical facilities, including data centers, laboratories and command/control centers. They must have a strong understanding of Revit and must be able to conduct load calculations, ventilation calculations, and proper documentation demonstrating ASHRAE 90.1 and ASHRAE 62.1 compliant HVAC design. They should be able to help prepare basic deliverables such as equipment selection, calculations, construction documents, specifications, design analysis, and completion of projects.
You will be a core member of the Alphatec Mechanical Engineering team. You will work on highly coordinated facilities with an integrated in-house A/MEP/FP design team to achieve your projects goals. Key Responsibilities
HVAC design for facilities, with an emphasis on mission critical facilities, including data centers, laboratories and command/control centers
Support the Mechanical Engineering department with design development and quality control
Strong Revit skills
Prepare presentation materials, calculations, construction documents, specifications, design analysis, and completion of projects
Load calculations, ventilation calculations, and proper documentation demonstrating ASHRAE 90.1 and ASHRAE 62.1 compliant HVAC design
