This individual will oversee accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals. This position plays a key role in strategic decision-making and maintaining financial health.
About the Role - Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing strategic insights to support decision-making. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other relevant financial standards. Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, working with external auditors to ensure smooth and timely audits. Analyze financial data and present actionable recommendations to executive leadership. Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and optimize financial systems for efficiency. Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's or CPA preferred).
5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, ZOHO).
Proficiency and/or familiarity with office software products, e.g., Adobe, Microsoft Office, ZOHO, DocuSign.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Experience in Healthcare and foreign language proficiency are pluses.
