Job Description:
Our client, a Global Investment Bank, is seeking an Entry Level Analyst in Boston, MA: Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Conduct financial data analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Help with budgeting and forecasting activities, analyzing variances and providing recommendations.
- Support accounts payable/receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
- Monitor financial performance by comparing actual results to budgeted targets.
- Participate in financial audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Assist in ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle) is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
