About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to support the Domestic Division of a dynamic organization in the logistics and transportation industry. In this role, you will work closely with the Business Unit Finance team, providing valuable insights to guide decision-making and drive financial performance.
This is a hands-on role that combines financial analysis, strategic support, and collaboration with operational leaders to enhance the profitability and efficiency of the domestic division.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a strategic partner to business unit leaders, providing financial guidance and analysis to drive business decisions.
Prepare detailed financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses to support the division's financial goals.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting trends and opportunities for improvement.
Lead the monthly financial reporting process for the business unit, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of actionable insights.
Support the development and execution of the annual budget and rolling forecasts for the domestic division.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and sales, to align financial plans with business objectives.
Identify and recommend cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Assist with ad-hoc analysis and special projects, providing leadership with clear and concise financial insights.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in FP&A, business unit finance, or related roles.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial modeling (experience with ERP systems and BI tools is a plus).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on translating data into actionable recommendations.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive mindset with a strong attention to detail and a passion for driving results.
