Prime Capital Financial ("Prime")

Prime Capital Financial is a top 20 Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), with $30+ billion in Assets Under Management (AUM). Prime has nearly 200 Advisors and nearly 400 total Team members serving clients nationwide in its 60+ offices across the country. Prime operates primarily through 3 brands; Prime Wealth serves over 15,000 individual wealth management households and provides a full array of services from financial planning to investment management. Prime Retirement provides retirement plan consulting services to over 800 employers across the nation. Position Summary:

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly financial reports to support the firm's strategic decision-making processes. This role will involve close collaboration with the Senior Financial Analyst and other internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and actionable insights. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including performance dashboards, variance analysis, and key financial metrics for leadership.
  • Assist with maintaining and building out the firm's three-statement five-year forecast model.
  • Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and actionable insights.
  • Support the monthly and quarterly forecasting processes and collaborate with the Senior Financial Analyst to refine projections.
  • Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data in coordination with the accounting team.
  • Develop and maintain standardized reporting templates to streamline financial reporting processes.
  • Assist with budgeting processes and prepare reports comparing budgeted vs. actual results.
  • Collaborate with departments to gather and interpret financial data for decision-making support.
  • Work with systems and tools to extract, validate, and analyze data, ensuring reports are comprehensive and accurate.
  • Support ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as assigned by the Senior Financial Analyst.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a related role, preferably within the financial services or RIA industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, macros, pivot tables, charts) and experience with financial reporting tools or software.
  • Experience with accounting systems, such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or other ERP software, is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work with large data sets.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings effectively.
  • Strong work ethic, teamwork orientation, and a growth mindset.
